Congratulations
to the Crush of the Bronze Division (6-8yr olds) of the Briarcliffe Hockey
League for winning the championship game 3-2 in OT on Sunday, April 21. They
had a regular season record of 8-2.

Cabrini College to Host 7th Annual Cavalier Lacrosse School
Two of the most successful coaches in NCAA Division III lacrosse will be conducting the seventh annual Cavalier Lacrosse School at Cabrini College's Edith Robb Dixon Field this June. Cabrini women's coach Jackie Neary will run a girls camp from June 17-20, while Blue and White men's coach Steve Colfer's boys camp will run June 24-27
The girls' camp will run Monday through Thursday from 9
a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $250 per player and lunch is included. The boys'
session will run Monday-through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the
cost is $200 per player. There are significant group and team discounts available
for both sessions.
Campers will receive instruction in all aspects of
fundamental lacrosse from two of the most successful coaches in the
game. Under Colfer, Cabrini has won 12 straight conference titles
and earned 11 straight NCAA tournament appearances. Neary, a former member of
Temple's Division I NCAA title team, has led the Cabrini women to 11 conference
titles and nine NCAA tourney berths. The duo has also won a
combined 13 CSAC Coach of the Year Awards
Other camp staff will feature members of the Cavalier
men's and women's lacrosse teams as well as local high school and college
coaches.
The camps are open to players entering grades two through
nine. Applications will be available in the Cabrini College athletic office and

Haverford College to host 15th annual girl's basketball camp this June
Haverford College women’s basketball coach Bobbi Morgan
and Haverford High varsity girls basketball coach Bridget DiCave will conduct
the 15th annual Haverford Girls’ Basketball Camp June 24-28 at the Haverford
Township Community Recreation and Environmental Center. The fully air conditioned center, located at
the Haverford Reserve, features four courts and 12 baskets for team play.
The camp is open to girls entering grades 1-9 and will
cover all aspects of fundamental play. Daily sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 2
p.m. and feature stations, individual and team skill work, three on three, five
on five and skills contests as well as guest speakers from local Division I, II
and III colleges. Staff will include
Cabrini College head coach Kate Pearson as well as other local college players
and coaches. The camp program is designed to meet the needs of both the
beginner and the more experienced player. Campers will be grouped by age and
ability.
Enrollment for the camp is limited and all previous camps
have been filled to capacity so players are encouraged to register early to
secure a spot. Cost for the camp is $160 and sibling discounts are

Performance Plus Training Clinics To Take Place At Haverford College
Haverford College strength and conditioning coach Cory Walts will direct a series of Performance Plus training clinics this summer on the Haverford campus for both high school and college student-athletes
These strength and conditioning clinics will run Tuesday
and Thursday nights, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., June 18 - August 8. The
clinics are intended for student-athletes who are looking to intensify their
summer training under experienced guidance and supervision. The first half of
each session will be devoted to speed and conditioning enhancement on Swan
Field, which has a synthetic turf surface used by several professional and
major collegiate programs throughout the country. The second half of the night
will transition inside to Haverford’s all-inclusive Fitness Center in order to
develop strength and power.
Cost for the clinics is $300 for all 14 sessions, $30 per
night or $50 per week for an individual. More information on the Performance
