Cal Ripken 9s win District One championship

On Tuesday, July 12, the Cal Ripken 9 yr. olds won the District One championship for the second year in a row going undefeated by beating Hilltop, 3-2. Strong pitching by Joe Cipolloni and Christian Gallo and clutch hitting by Trent Pierce and Bobby Oneill fueled the victory.

The team (seen above) now goes to the Pa. State tournament on July 22 in Yardley, Pa.
