South Marple Little League opened Saturday April 6

The festivities began with a parade from Lawrence park shopping center through the neighborhoods, ending at the South Marple Fields behind Loomis Elementary school.  The National Anthem was sung by over 500 players and their families and the Little League pledge was recited.  Present for the festivities of the day were the Phillie Phanatic, WIP Radio, and presentations by Commissioners Michael Molinaro, John Lucas and Robert Fortebuono.
