Springfield Cougar golfers make waves in Central

The Springfield team, led by Michael Kelley, Jr. Supper and Kyle Hakun, had a strong finish in the Central League with wins over Upper Darby, Marple and Ridley. In the Central League Championship, Kelley, Supper and Hakun advanced to the District 1 Championship be held this week at Turtle Creek Golf Club. This is the first time in many years Springfield sent three golfer to the District Championship. Pat O'Connell, Brandon Wynne, Tim Houtmann and Brian Todaro also played in the Central League Championship but did not advanced to the next level.
