Drexel Hill Little League 8U softball wins another tournament

The DHLL 8U Softball Tournament Team entered the Springford tournament this past week with high hopes and a reputation of strong bats and stellar defense. The girls did not disappoint as they went undefeated in 4 games in which they allowed only 14 runs as they made their way to their 2nd championship of their tournament play this season which concluded last night in Springford. The road was not easy for Drexel Hill as they faced strong competition throughout, but in the championship game against the host team, their strong bats and great gloves prevailed in exciting 6-3 win.

Drexel Hill played in 3 tournaments this post season, advancing to the championship game each time. The league and coaches could not be any more proud of the accomplishments that were achieved by this great group of girls as their team work and work ethic at such a young age is something extraordinary!
