Special Olympics athletes get air with 76ers Flight Squad

Special Olympics athletes from Delaware County got to slam dunk with the 76ers Flight Squad on the hardwood of the Wells Fargo Center during the annual Special Olympics Night PA with the 76ers on March 18, when the 76ers beat the Portland Trailblazers. Getting their game on at the event are, from left 76ers Flight Squad hoopsters Alex Ronnan and Alex Kerwood, athletes Brad Wallgren of Marple, Michael Barton of Sharon Hill, Jake Spencer of Middletown, Flight Squad member Ron Burrell (holding a prize shirt), Brian Short of Middletown, Dave DeFino of Nether Providence and Benajmin Scott. A percentage of tickets sold to local Special Olympics athletes went to the Delaware County Special Olympics program.
