Springfield Athletic Association U-9 Travel Soccer team defeats Red Devils

U-9 Travel Soccer
Springfield Renegades 3, Coventry Red Devils 1
The Springfield U-9 Renegades team hosted Coventry on Oct. 1 at Netherwood Field. Andrew Fox scored one goal assisted by Matthew Ellison, and Jake Kuzmick scored two goals for the Renegades.
Brendan McKnight goal tended the first half and Kevin McCann the second, both did a great job in goal. Ben Storz, Momsif Atify and Rory Travers dribbled and passed the ball skillfully through the Red Devils.
Nicholas Dezzi, Ryan Peterson, Evan Gallagher, Jacob McCarthy and Jake Peichel helped defend the Renegades goal and rotated to offense, maneuvering right passed the Red Devils.
The Renegades dominated the field and ended with a well-deserved 3 to 1 victory.
K-1 Soccer
The UCLA team won its second game of the season Oct. 1 improving its record to 2 - 0. Bryan Minott and Bridget Robinson each scored two goals in the team's 4 - 1 victory.
