U14 Haverford Heat participates in Keystone Cup

The U14 Girls Haverford Heat Soccer Team traveled to Lancaster, PA to participate in the Keystone Cup 2011 over the Labor Day weekend. The Heat players advanced to the semi-final round on Sunday morning, where they outlasted a team from Hershey 3-0. In the final game, the Heat yielded to a team from Maryland by a single goal in a well-played outing. The Heat Coaches were pleased with the players efforts, stamina, and their overall level of soccer. The Heat will compete in PAGs Division 2 in the U14 Age group this fall.
