Francie McNally (followed by Christina Smith) led the Springfield girls to their third consecutive sweep of a Central League meet, defeating Penncrest and Upper Darby at Rose Tree Park. Smith finished fourth, followed by Mary Galligan finishing sixth, Julie Marrow seventh and Shannon Duffy tenth, completing the scoring for Springfrield.
