SAA 10-Blue Wins PA Cal Ripken District 1

Springfield AA 10u-Blue won the Cal Ripken District 1 Tournament with a 6-5 win over Llanerch Hills in the Championship game. 10-Blue had to best the top teams in the district, including Hilltop and Llanerch Hills on their way to the championship. Over the last four weeks, 10-Blue has compiled a 13-1 record with two tournament championships (Ridley and Upper Merion) and now the prized District 1 crown. With the win, 10-Blue earned a berth in the Cal Ripken PA State tournament, starting July 16 in Warrington, Pa. Next up for 10-Blue is the Harleysville tournament where they will face several other District winners and finalists in their last tune-up event before the State competition begins.
